She photographs the tradition unattractive, the notably tortured and the Freudian perverse; and yet, both through refined techniques of the medium and thoughtful manipulation Freehill’s exhibit fulfills a desire for simply beautiful works of art. Yansan: 100 Years of Women's Struggle, Ceremony and Sword

Sellars Project Space is pleased to host an exhibition of women of color in celebration of International Women’s Day and its 100th anniversary. This exhibition, curated by international artivist Ashara Ekundayo, is titled Yansan: 100 Years of Womyn’s Struggle, Ceremony and Sword. This exhibition includes work by artists Jordan Casteel, Li Hardison, Amana Johnson, Deanna Lowman, Selamawit Mekonen, Kim Mayhorn, Favianna Rodriguez

An informal artist talk will be held with Curator Ashara Ekundayo and several of the artists on Saturday, March 5th beginning at 12 p.m. at Sellars Project Space.

Sellars Project Space will also be hosting an exhibition of photographic works for the Annual Darkroom & Digital Print Event in conjunction with Denver's Month of Photography. Artists included in this exhibition are Kerry Koetting, Laura Dunn, Wendi Luhmann, Jerry de la Cruz, Gary Olds, Paula Bard, Maarten Haverkamp, Cory Richards, Jimmy Sellars, and Heidi Jung.

This exhibition opens for Denver’s city-wide first Friday art walk on Friday February 4th from 6 - 9 pm. As with all exhibitions at Sellars Project Space, an informal artist talk, our TALK TALK TALK series, will be hosted on Saturday, February 5th beginning at 12 p.m.

This exhibition opens on Friday, January 7th at 6 p.m. with a reception during the city-wide First Friday Art Walk from 6 - 9 p.m. A reception will be held later in the month when the artist returns from New York - Friday, January 21st from 6 - 9 p.m. and an informal artist talk, SPS' continuing TALK TALK TALK series, on Saturday, January 22nd beginning at 12 p.m.
